Signals: cross-platform shippability is first-class; Bastion M30 lineage, not rehomed 
Per founder correction: Signals stays a standalone, cross-platform app (Linux/
macOS/Windows) — that portability is constitutive for a federation app, since
co-watchers run their own OSes. Lineage is Bastion M30 (M24 original); lineage is
not home — Signals is NOT folded into the Bastion monolith.
- frontmatter: bastion_lineage M30, platforms [linux,macos,windows], ships standalone
- Vision: cross-platform paragraph (Qt = the portability layer; depend only on the
  portable subset of bastion crates)
- Architecture + AC#3: Hero embedding must be platform-abstracted (X11 --wid today,
  native handle on macOS/Windows) — else Signals silently becomes Linux-only
- AC#12: cross-platform cargo build on all three; no Linux-only dep leak
- Lineage note: Bastion M27 Knobs-and-Meters -> M28 -> M29 -> M30, not rehomed
